Really? I didn't care for it in my telecaster. It lacked clarity to my ears and I didn't find the split sound very convincing.

If you must get hard rock sounds out of a Strat the HR is a killer pickup. I find the bridge to be dark, but that can be tweaked with pot values/wiring options. One of my absolute favorite combos is a hot rails in the neck and a JB in the bridge of a Strat. They sound like they were voiced to be a matched set.

I love me some Hot Rails! It rocks hard! :headbang: In fact, I dig the whole Rails lineup. I got a Hot/Vintage/Cool Rails set in my Fender Lite Ash Strat...
