Whoa, i just checked out the george L's website because i was thinking about getting new leads for my pedalboard and guitar to amp chord and i couldnt beleive how expensive they were. I payed $2can for each one of my 6" leads that hook up my pedals and it costs $14.50us for each 6" georgle L cable. How do you guys afford all these chords. I only have 5 pedals on my board, so it would cost me $58us just to get my pedal board done. Are there any cheaper cables that wont cause any tonal lose ? And has anyone made there own with any success ?

If you're in Canada, try and find a shop that carries BRTB cabling. It's really good cable with good end connections (Switchcraft, Neutrik, or G&L, depending on cable grade).

Then, buy one at a time.

All my prefab cabling is BRTB Xcalibur stuff. Super quiet and great tone. I've spent a few hundred $$$ in cabling, but I bought it all one cable at a time.

George L's cable is good, but I don't like how the connectors keep comming loose. If you get the BRTB stuff, you're not paying for a name, just good cable.

I switched out my instrument and speaker cables to Monster cables after I read an article about Dimebag Darrel preaching the ins and outs of live rig setups. I can't say enough about what it did for my tone.
