the jaguar facelift is done for now..

Re: the jaguar facelift is done for now..

It's not that I dislike the chrome panels on Jaguars; it's that with the black on black, they appear to be randomly floating about in outer space.

As for "the whole Jaguar vibe" statement...you do realize that you're saying that about a guitar with two honkin' cream 'buckers and a Tune-o-Matic, right? Is the thing even short scale? It has no real Jaguar vibe, and never has...which I guess is probably why the black panels and knobs came to mind.

It is short scale, has the jaguar body shape and all the jaguar switching. It is very much a Jaguar. your comment does remind me of this guitar though, which I'm emulating:

Looks pretty Jagular.

:D thanks man

I'm about to get some fretwork done. The action can drop pretty low as it is, I'm kind of anxious to get it done just to see how some minor buzzes smooth out.

I aim to please...

?

(Really...I think you're giving my too much credit. I have no idea....)

Wow! I wouldnt have guessed that to be a Super 2! neat looking! Looks cool bro! If I can interject my humble opinion, I think cream rings would take away from the pups. Esp since they are slightly diff colored. Id either stay with black or go with chrome since the hardware is chrome.

I wish I could find some black control plates...
