The Little Vox Brian May...ss amp?

I picked up one of these Saturday, I had one before and sold it. These work both as a pretty cool little amp or as a great overdrive for any other amp. I think it's 10 watts SS, has two stages of OD, W/ a built in 8" speaker (I think it's 8", might be 6". Anyway, it sounds pretty cool through the small speaker, but I hooked it up to a 4X12 cab...whoah!!! Sounds really cool! This is the small white amp with the Brian May sig on the front..sometimes called "The Deacie" after John Deacon who buit a similar one for Brian May to practice with. If you get a chance to play one, I highly recomend it. I think they are out of production now, though.

I've had one of these since right after they came out. It is essentially 4 in one, a practice amp, a headphone amp, amp head to power an 8 ohm cabinet, and a direct input to recording console amp. Great stuff. The Deacy amp part is mainly the headphone/console output jackarea if I understand the manual correctly.

I LOVE the way the 4x12 Mesa sounds with it! All for around a Benjamin. :cool2:

I've always wanted one of those, I plugged into one every time i went into my local shop. They day i went to buy one they sold out, never got any more in.....I was bummed. For a little amp that thing sounded huge.

Clips through a 4x12? I heard them once through the little speaker.

That would almost be 5 in 1, as it also doubles as an OD unit for another amp. That really sounds amazing as well.

Wow! I'll take 2 to go please! Really, where was I when these were released? I'm on the hunt now! I love amps.
