Just curious what is everyone is using for their middle pickup...for those that have a Hum-Sing-Hum configuration. I just bought the JB for the Bridge and the Jazz for the Neck...I was thinking the Litle '59 for the middle.. what does everyone think..any suggestion would be appreciated....

Re: The Middle Pickup Position

I've got an HSH Ibanez w/ 59n and C5br, and a Duckbucker in the middle. Sounds pretty good, but there's a big output difference (useful to me for now). I've heard the Cool Rails would match up better, output-wise.

There's several I like. Vintage Rails, (more or less, same as a Duck), Cool Rails, (for a little more output), Classic Stack, SSL-1, SSL-6. I've used all those in the middle and liked them all. VR is probably my favorite.

Artie,
Are you splitting your neck pup and are trying to get a passible strat possition 3/4 type of sound? If so, then go with a true single coil. If not and you are just looking for a middle pup to add another tonal option, go cool rails.
