I've seen this video and that humbucker definitely has black hex pieces rather than slugs in the coil closest to the neck.

Yes, been playing Dokken all day and wondering the same thing. The pickup in the video is definitely a Screamin Demon in the bridge. You can clearly see the hex poles on the neck side coil. It is totally evident Lynch's tone change from Back for the Attack to Wicked Sensation. Much more open and less crunchy. I love both tones myself and absolutely love the Screamin Demon Pickup in my Charvel 3Dr. With that said, I think i am going to make a Dokkenbucker by putting a ceramic into an old Lydia Daniels-wound JB.

You will like it. I once put a double thick ceramic in a JB. I liked it, but it turned out to be just too much low end in the guitar it was in. I put a regular ceramic in DD HB-7. The 7 string version of the DD version of the JB. Love, love love it! Tight low end, and this is on a 7 string tuned to A. Clear sizzling top with distortion. Just magnificent. I can only imagine that a Dokkenbucker would sound at least as good.
