The most EVIL song I have ever written

Bullet Proof Toneologist
This is a little treasure from a magical night back in 1996. The mojo was flowing and this evil lil dittie was the result. Features me as the Devil, my friend Maggie as the temptress and Ward as the pipes of steel. This was done on an 8 track cassette recorder.... A Marshall Valvestate sits loud and proud on this one.

EVIL FREAKIN EVIL

C'mon guys, this stuff is pure gold!! Personally I think it is up there with anything Dylan ever did.

Re: The most EVIL song I have ever written

hey Kev, I hear that valvestate. is that a 2nd generation unit ? killer chops.

Re: The most EVIL song I have ever written

"peel your bananna"
"stir fry all your meat"
"taste her ice cream cause she'll double dip your cone"

LOL....what hilarious lines!!

So Kev, how much have you racked up getting Eddie to come in and do all these solos?;)

Re: The most EVIL song I have ever written

That was probably the weirdest combination of awesome guitar playing and horrible songwriting that i've ever heard.

Thats cause the tune is a joke tune, saracastic, a whim.... All intentional :smack:

Thanks metal!! Yes it was a 2nd gen, which are killer amps. Pretty sure it was a VS 100. I had a few back in those days, wouldn't mind having one to kick around still.

She'll fly through your hanger cause she's a real Doppleganger... A super cool sister, a real trick or treat. I never heard such gems from Paul and John...

I'll take chocolate. That was hilarious man. Funniest thing I've ever heard on this forum. ;)

That was cool :laugh2:

It doesn´t matter where you play guitar..it always sounds phenomenal

Ha Ha! Very good. Nice chops, bro... your spandex is showing through. On a more serious note, if you can remember the Hammer-On/Pull-Off pattern you used for the repetitive flurry stuff, I'd like to know. It sounds very Lynch-esqe and I'd like to try and get that under my fingers.

Thanks.

Hey Thanks everyone!!

A little humor is good from time to time...

Matt very interesting you mention Lynch, I heard this song for the first time in years and was thinking I must have had Back For The Attack on or something.... I don't really phrase like that any more... I have played that solo only once, and that was when I recorded it, tough to remember... As a guess, useing the B and E strings in the C Maj scale I would play 8-10-12 and tap the 13th fret on both strings and then just move with the scale up and down the neck playing 3 notes and tapping a 4th. I am not sure if I could even pull the one off anymore, my playing has changed a ton.

Thanks Kevlar, it did sound like a stretch for single hand HO/PO, so the tapping must be the key to pulling that off. I'll go home and try it. Of course, Georgie might have done the 8-10-12-slide to 13 and back again, but his hands are as big as Rhode Island.

For that matter, the 8-10-12 can be a good stretch in and of itself.

God, I was messing with it on my 62 RI Strat, funny as hell to hear. It was much easier on my 24 fret Ibanez. I think I can get it again, but will need a couple weeks. A bit happy no one can hear me try to do it again, classic crap coming from my hands!!
