I really miss my vibro champ. Worst sale I have made.

Nice amp, way to go!

nice amp, should be a great full sound in a little package

Thanks dudes. I did my "repair" last night by popping in a spare 12ax7. Now the tremolo works nice and strong! I just love how the GC guys say that it needed a footswitch or new "power caps". HAHAHAH!

I knew to try a tube and bust their balls on price.

sweet man!!! you gotta love when you can get something at a good price that just needs an easy fix!

I say you pay them back with another V-Lux & run 'em in stereo !!!! :D

Re: The neighbors have been complaining. Here's what I had to do.

cathode resistor in power section has been replaced.

Great score. I can't believe how clean the cab, faceplate & grill cloth look :D

cathode resistor in power section has been replaced.

Yep. Looks like the right value though (s/b yellow/viotet/brown bands and I can only see the first two). Also s/b 1 watt rating or more, and it looks like that's covered too based on size. Probably quieter with a metal film resistor there anyway.

That cathode bypass cap in the middle (white) looks like it's deteriorating too, but it is 35 years old after all! Might want to replace it before it decides to go "Pop!"
