Coming soon: I still want to add a large Korg or Fender Rackmount tuner on the top space of the rack, I bought a kit that will move my wireless antenna to the front of the rack (just need to drill holes in the black first), and I either need to find a way to wrap all my cables to the floor board or buy a Pedal snake to keep set up nice a fast

Badass rig!! Thanks for the pics! People must think I enjoy spending countless hours on here invesitigating gear and spending a lot of time trouble and money on gear, a lot of which i turn around and end up losing money. Its a persuit man. And it is a pain in the ass, altough its something thats a worthy persuit so its also gratifying.... but in the end I have a rig thats a lot like yours and its all worth it.
Sweet 'PEG by the way.

I am completely in love with that AMPEG. The really cool thing is that I can use the GMAJOR's graphic EQ, and scoop the hell out of it, essecially turning it into a 3 channle amp! It sounds great!. I am using the GE7 as a Lead Boost, the SD1 to give a little more harmonics and sustain to the great overdrive of the amp, DD20 gives me that perfectly in sync delay, and nothing sounds quite as good as an old ass MXR phase 90! I have a gig next weekend and I should have some great looking pics with stage lighting and everything...

Nice rig bro! Where did you score those nice patch cables on the pedals? What kind are they?

Re: The new rig is almost complete PICS!

the patch cables were HOSA double 3' cables that I cut in half, and put right angle plugs on the other ends. worked out pretty sweet, plus it was cheep as hell too! Here is the messy part...

It looks like a real pro setup, congratulations on putting it together. My idea of a setup is an amp, a tube screamer, and a Strat :nervous:

Re: The new rig is almost complete PICS!

its pretty funny, you can download worksheets for that GCX from Voodoo labs, so you can literally draft what loops go to what! That and I think I used an entire notebook drawing how everything would go and in what order... I am just glad that the programing part is over! I have about 4 banks with 10 presets each to capture all my tones and effects... (of couse I use the 6 main presets on each band so I am not going crazy trying to find things) After christmas I am going to buy a video camera and thow some clips on my myspace page or youtube. Cause it sounds even better than it looks! By the way, thank you to all of you guys that helped me out the last month. YOU guys rock!

WOW Mr. RnR'lin... that's some serious kit. I take my hat off to you, I just don't have the patience (or money these days!) to even think about that type of set up. I have a few effects in the front a few in the loop... and when I have problems, and believe me I have... I get p!ssed off and just disconnect the lot and go straight into the amp!!

I like the 2 effect boards idea, I bet it sounds awesome? I've always liked Ampeg gear but never got one? Anyway, good luck at the gig... all the best.

Re: The new rig is almost complete PICS!

ya I am with ya, my last rig was a couple pedals into a fender twin and that was it. This thing is a lot more complex, but I wanted to change settings with one button. And I wanted to be able to set the Tap Tempo for my DD20 when my drummer clicks off a song and still have it be that tempo when I get to a solo... This was the only real way to do that, plus the GCX can change my amp channel and uses true bypass loops to keep my tone as pure as possible. I still have a few things to tweek on it though... I need to adjust the noise gate a little bit more. Unfortunately I can not do most of that here in the apartment.

But you gotta be a little picky with your sound when you play for a sh!tload of people...
