BIG no-no for me !!!
But, like you there is ONE, Green guitar that i have GAS for, and it is OK to be green as it is a vintage :

My Dad had a Gibson LP just like that one back when he was my age. He dropped it out of a window the day he bought it.

If I remember correctly one bro on the forum has a green Les Paul Studio that is seriously sweet. It was a transparent color so you could see the grain of the wood. Even if Studios don't display a fancy wood top, it is still quite nice. Really dark green, probably as dark as the red of the wine red models.
