Out of respect for the space Ace, and Kiss in general, let's not get into an argument about who played what on Unmasked, Dynasty, or Music from the Eldereither! I'm sure they would all like to deny any involvement in most of those!

And technique/tone/etc. aside - If wasn't for the one who got you to pick up that plank-0-wood in the first place, none of us would be here talking about this, would we? I'm pretty sure that Dime said th thing that inpired him was that poster of Ace with the smoking guitar! And now, look what we have: SH-13 Dimebucker.

Well, this is going to be my last reply here as this thread is likely to get in danger of being "off topic-ed"

It's kinda neat though - all this love for hardcore DiMarzio bridge Superdistortion guy. Technique and chops may come and go. Cool is immortal!

I always say this type of thing man you can burn down the house with technique ala michael angelo and some other shred gods but give me a guy with SOUL anyday of the week like gilmore,beck,frehley,schon,lynch,etc

technique is good to have but what good is it if you play with no soul or heart?

Ah hell let it be OT.

Dynasty is a cool album not great but far from their worst. I love Ace's stuff on Unmasked, it has to be some of the corniest stuff he ever did. Torpedo Girl kills me. Ace hates, I mean hates Ezrin so his lack of input on Elder makes total sense, he thought it was a terrible idea and it certainly was!
