the return of real uk made voxs?

Re: the return of real uk made voxs?

As was stated earlier, JMI stands for Jennings Musical Instruments. I believe they made organs before the guitar craze of the 60's. The Vox name has been sold several time over the years and is now owned by the Korg people.

Presumably, this amp is a boutique model that's closer to an original than anything Korg-Vox presently sells. But since JMI doesn't own the Vox name, they can't sell it as such.

The Brit mags i have bought have big discounter ads. If you go by the prices they charge......Eric Johnson Strat for around 1400 pounds vs around $1600 here, that may mean that we might see that JMI in its discounted form for not much more than what the big guys are getting for the 57 Twin RI.....that would not be bad at $2200-2500 if it is built like the old ones:fingersx:
