I'm ordering 2 pickups from Seymour Duncan for my semi-hollow PRS style guitar. The pickups are the Slug bridge for the bridge position and the Dimebuxker bridge for the neck position. Does anyone have any opinions on these pickups?

im guessing you could make that pairing work. ive never tried a dime in the neck and dont have much experience with the slug. both are high output but kinda tonal opposites, bright and cutting for the dime and thick for the slug. seems like an odd choice for a semi-hollow body but why not

Yeah, they are tonal opposites, but no reason they can't work if that is the sound you are going for.

Uhh.. you'd want the 2 bridge pickups to be tonal opposites and put the 'bright' one in the neck. 16k is really dark in the neck but if it's bright enough it might balance tone wise with the dark slug bridge.
