The story behind the duncan distortion sh6?

Hello everyone, the duncan distortion model is one of my favorite pickups of all time. Great guitarists like George Lynch, randy rhoads, chris holmes used this pickup in the mid 80's. I'm curious about its history. I know that the model jb sh4 is from 1974 and the custom duncan is from 1979, will the dd be introduced in 1980? I would like Frank Skoop to tell us about it or someone who knows the story.:?:

You can google for the SD timeline and there is a graph that can help you with what year the models you mentioned were released.

I covered a little bit of the timeline of the early The JB Model in a recent article, and I bet you'll see something about the JB rolling around again through SD social media before too long.

Most people here will nod to the Distortion pretty much being a JB with a thick ceramic magnet.

Well, folks according to the timeline of the seymour distortion model was introduced in 1980. but I wanted to know more about its history something like the process of creation or something of the type. And I erred on the name I was referring to Evan Skoop. Could someone call you to talk about it?

Wow, that "SD timeline" has some serious issues.

It's "ok" for the early stuff, such as the SH-6 being discussed here, but once you hit the mid-'80s, it really starts to fall apart (Parallel Axis designed in 1993? Not even close...try 1987-88!)

Still erred on the name. Try Evan Skopp and maybe you'll find some information, about him, at least.
