Just got this awesome book in the mail yesterday after my wife ordered it for me as a birthday present. I must say, anyone whose ever liked, played, owned, or wanted a Fender Stratocaster NEEDS this book! It's a big black thick hardcover book FULL of pictures and facts about pretty much the entire history of Fender Strats. To go along with this great book, is a CD that has excerpts from interviews with Leo Fender himself. You also have Greg Koch recreating some of the most famous sounds ever coaxed from a Stratocaster, doing it very well.

Do yourself a favor and pick up this book! It'll keep you busy for hours! It has for me.

I have that book myself since a year back. It's awsome...lots of interesting info, pics and history. Great Book! :banana:

That's a great book. Required reading for any guitarist regardless of whether they play a strat or not. The quotes and insights are priceless.

You can now get that hardcover for half off too. Guess it didn't sell real well because the Boulder Bookstore has them for 50% off.

Lew..... I did end up getting it for around half off thanks to a website my wife came across. It was gonna cost $50 through Barnes & Noble, $31 through Amazon.com, but she found some obsure website and found it for $24.50! It was still in the shrink wrap and it did have the CD with it also. But there are some minor scuff marks and a few minor blemishes to the cover, but for half price i'm not gonna complain!! Very well my favorite book of all time
