This is a live recording done back in early 2008. It is me on guitar and vocals using a phantom mic to record the whole band so the audio quality could be better.
I am using a Duncan STK-S4 in this song through a big muff pi into a Traynor 6L6 loaded YCV-40. I am in the process of getting a new group together this summer and plan on doing some new recordings along the way to track my own progress as a songwriter and player while getting some material out there for potential bandmates to check out. I have been using this STK-S4 pickup since 2006 now and it is still loaded in the same chambered black korina Warmoth LP connected to a 24.75" scale 59 roundback wenge neck with a ziricote fretboard that I still use today as my number 1 axe.
When I listen to this song it amazes me how fast the past 7 years have gone by since this and other recordings I did at the time were made. I'm excited to get back into the swing of things again this summer.
