I just watched a new reality show, Showdown of the Unbeatables, where they create a match between two companies who make an unrelated high quality product.
They put the roadcase company Calzone/Anvil cases against the best garbage truck with onboard trash compactor that can crush just about everything with ease.
I was astounded that Calzone won the challenge. The competition's trash compacting garbage truck could devour a compact car, turning it into a cube of scrap metal!
They started by throwing Calzone cases off trucks, cranes, and finally, against the garbage truck!
When they fed the Calzone case with a ukelele inside to the garbage truck, everyone was sure the wood and aluminum box would crumble. The compactor gave it a full blast of hydraulic power, and the case didn't even bend! Unbelievable. I'm now a believer in how well built these heavy duty cases are.
