The twins are finally done and they are sexy!

Well you guys may or may not have seen my post a couple weeks ago about my two 2x12 cabinet project that I was working on, well I'm happy to say that I finally finished and I couldn't be happier with them. It took several weeks with some upsetting set backs but I managed to work through them and I feel pretty good about the out come. My cabs are based off a marshall MF400 cab that I have. The inside dimensions are 31" H, 15.5"W, 12.75" bottom depth and 11.75" top depth. I've only got about 1 hour of play time with them but all I can say is they sound AWSOME! ! ! ! ! The bottom end is huge and the mid focus will rip your face off and the high are sweet. Here are some pictures of some different views and most of my gear.

Both cabs have celestion g12t-75's 16 ohm's and marshall vintage 30's 16 ohm's wired parallel to 8 ohm's

My new cabs look shorter than the marshall cab because they don't have casters, just 5/8" rubber feet.

Thanks Ayrton, and thanks for the help on the other thread. Also FWIW the water based contact cement from home depot worked very good, but I feel my lack of experience cause several small areas of bubbles. I believe the problem was I didn't coat the wood enough with the glue. I did it twice but it really soaked in to the wood alot, I think I should have put a third coat on. Thanks again Aryton

Those look f-ing awesome! That's a real professional build you did there. Good idea to skip the casters - they'd probably get too tipsy if they were on wheels.

Thamks everyone. Yah I'm pretty proud of them. After all said and done with all the litlle nick nack stuff I had to buy I spent approx. $450 on the high side of things(did really keep a close track of things). I thought alot about putting a name plate on them but choose not to.
