The ultimate pickup?

Re: The ultimate pickup?

I for one think its a pretty cool lookin' gizmo, As Kent said If it has high headroom low string pull and is pretty silent it'd be worth a listen to at least.
Can also Eq other passive pickups in the Guitar too..
I'd like to hear more on it.

this thread is entirely based on subjective opinions

I'd say the majority of this board is based on subjective opinions

Well, as the saying goes ... *this is true too....* :)
The majority of of the board based on opinions? Nah, I'd say there is quite a lot of facts period. Then again though, the whole board and all topics taken as a whole, I never thought about it, you might be right. Either way, I thought it was funny that you stated an opinion as a matter of fact ... That wasn't your intent we all know, but it still opened up that line ( I thought it was funny anyway ...) . :laugh2: :)

The funny thing was that the tone chart,...well anyone notice that the Eq settings were (for the majority) close to being to same for all the different sounds ... How many of then have the treble almost dimed? I would prefer a set up that allows the center positions to have say a PAF style frequency response (okay, transfer function), and then be able to swing the bands up cut or boost from there ... know what I mean?
