I'm just checking in from Adelaide, South Australia, over here for a couple of shows before I fly home on Sunday. The old girl thanks you all for the kind words, and sends her best regards to Amber for the finals. I figured I could add some more photos, but rather than just focus on looks, it might be worth checking out how she sounds, as well. Here's a few examples of her history with me, over the past couple of decades at least.
First up, we go back to 1994, and her starring role in the music video for my original band, The Truth. You can see that she had a lot more of her paint in this clip.
Next, we move forward to 1999, and a national concert tour by a guy named John Farnham, who was touring to celebrate his 50th birthday. In this clip, she features on a slide solo around the 2 minute mark.
Now we jump to 2008, and a side project band I put together to play the music that inspired me to become a guitar player. Here she is playing the Deep Purple classic, Mistreated.
And finally to earlier this year, a live TV performance with the main act I work for, on a charity show for the local Children's Hospital. A song called The Horses, written by Rickie Lee Jones and Walter Becker. Here's the old girl in close to her current state.
Enjoy!
Cheers.............................. wahwah
