Does anyone here use these, and what is your opinion? Thanks for any feedback before I sell one of my amps to buy a set of these.:smoker:

No idea how they sound but they LOOK ugly. Is that the "cosmetic ageing"? Me no likey.

there will be covers over that part, it will only look aged if you choose the aged cover.

Are those a CS pickup George or Antiqities? I still love the Surfers!

They're CS. the Antiquities are listed separately.

they're fairly close to Antiquity specs, but 7.5K as compared to 6.4K would make a difference

I do have a couple APSs that measure about 7K, and they do get harmonics easier.

Ultimate is a very broad and subjective term. The best pickup for a very chimey and bell-like strat tone is not going to be the best pickup for some hot texas blues for example.

Totally depends on what your after
