#1, I just mainly blow off steam on here. That is sort of my personality in most cases anyway. I am hot or cold or black or white with nearly anything. I am either far from serious or, you could not get any more serious depending on the situation.
This thread is an excellent opportunity for everyone to see and learn a more serious side of Odie.
#2, I dont really play much anymore. Me and the wife work weird schedules and that coupled with the son and his normal sleeping hours, it is hard to play without making noise and disturbing somebody. Plus, its not really my hobby anymore. My hobby now days is being a father and a family man and also building muscle in the gym 5-6 days a week.

How's fatherhood treating you bro? Was it everything you thought it would be? When the kid gets older and a little more independent, do you plan on getting back into the repair/luthiery biz again?

Happy dude, I have only loved it in 2 guitars I have ever played it in. I have hated it in countless others. It wasnt so much the thin and nasily part, it was a bottom end that was as loose as a retired hooker. Loved it in 2, hated it in 30+ easily. There has not been much in-between.
9, fatherhood is good. I didnt have any preconceived notions going into it, I kept a clean slate and took it day by day.
I have no idea what the future will hold but, I have my doubts about the luthier end of things. Everytime I have a slight itch to do something, I start on it then realize how much I hated somethings that went along with it. That has soured me to the point where I dont really want to do my own stuff.
