Re: The Well CXII: Woemoejack

Top 5 forum members and why?

Jolly, Gearjoneser, Lucid, Kam, Sosomething: all nice guys, all willing to help without talking down to you.

What other forums to you visit?

TDPRI and TGP on occasion, used to be on the Mesa amp forum and the Marshall amp forum, but they’re a little one sided, SDUGF is my main home.

I know you are a beer snob, but what about hard liquor? What do you like?
Beer Appreciator. As far as liquor goes: Makers Mark, Buffalo Trace, Gentleman Jack, Southern Comfort, and Jager round out the top choices. I also like a good single barrel Scotch.

Is everything bigger in Texas?
That’s not necessarily true of everything here. It is a big state with big cities. It takes me 30 minutes to get to school, and it is in the SAME city. It takes a long time to get anywhere by any means of transportation.

Have you seen where Dimebag is buried since you live in Arlington? Was it a humbling experience?
Yes. It was definitely humbling. He was just a regular guy, didn’t live a lavish lifestyle, just loved having fun and partying. He is gone way too soon.

Favorite TV shows?
My DVR never misses an episode of: Deadliest Catch, Survivorman, Grey’s Anatomy, or Brewmasters

Re: The Well CXII: Woemoejack

I didn't know you were a beer snob . . . list your top 5 favorite beers!

1. Saint Arnold Christmas Ale
2. Dogfish Head Aprihop
3. Southern Star Pine Belt Pale Ale
4. Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron
5. Stone IPA

this is just my current fav's list. It is a never ending cycle. If you've never had any one of these they are all killer. 3 of the 5 occupy my fridge right now.

Well goddamn, look at that for a group. That'd be one hell of a party.

I'm flattered, man. :beerchug:

Re: The Well CXII: Woemoejack

Yes. thats what the white house needs IMO, a badass that has a license to carry. I'm thinking a .44 revolver a'la dirty harry would be fitting for a pres to carry.

Re: The Well CXII: Woemoejack

How do you eat an oreo cookie?

Say you win $10 million in the lottery, what are the first 5 things you do?

As far as your rig is concerned, describe your favorite sound that you get from it.

Kind of answered already, but if you were given an unlimited budget to go on holiday, but could only go to one place, where would you go?

And if you bungle the following like Steve I'll place you against something very evil in the next one ...

Ultimate fighting scenario ... Prison Rules Only

Quarter Finals

Bout A: Splinter (TNMT although I figure it's obvious) vs. Ganesh
Bout B: George Washington vs. Benjamin Disraeli
Bout C: Darth Vader vs. Cthulhu
Bout D: Godzilla vs. The gigantic version of Dr. Zoidberg

Semi Finals

Bout E: Winner of Bout A vs. Winner of Bout D
Bout F: Winner of Bout B vs. Winner of Bout C

Final Round

Winner of Bout E vs. Winner of Bout F

Top 5 things i would do after winning the lottery of $10 million.
1. Pay off all my debts.
2. Buy houses for my mother and father.
3. Build studio in my back yard.
4. Wife and I quit our jobs.
5. Gear shopping spree with all my musician buds

My favorite sounds from my rig are all centered around my SG, the Shiva, and a good speaker combo in my 4x12 cab. Its loud, clear and full bodied both clean and distorted. When you have a starting ground like this you can accomplish anything tone wise. I use my pedals to kick things up a notch: overdrives and clean boost to get a little extra poundage, the delay for texture and soloing. Its getting even better now that I have a fully Duncanized guitar (59n and C5).

If I had an unlimited budget, I would have to say that visiting Germany for Oktoberfest would be a dream come true. I could die happy if I ever get to go.

Bout A: Splinter by a landslide. Elephants are scared of rodents, plus Ganesh is a total pacifist pushover.
Bout B: George Washington, he gets cred from being a military leader and a Freemason (they kill people secretly right?).
Bout C: Vader. Cthulhu gets points for size and reach advantage but Vader has a fleet of imperial battleships and the freekin Death Star, assuming that bratty son of his didn't blow it up before this match. The force is strong in numbers, stronger than Cthulhu. plus, he cant get to outer space…
Bout D: Gonna have to go with the Doc on this one. Assuming they are fighting in a city full of skyscrapers, the pinchers and overall Doctor ingenuity win out over the slower lizard puppet.

Semis
Bout E: Doctor wins over Splinter. But its not a total loss for the rat sensei, he gets a job being the Doc's lab assistant for medical testing.
Bout F: Vader wins again. Although Georgie puts up a good scrap, theres no chance in winning when Vader uses the force to squish your nuts.

Final: Doc Zoidberg prevails, apparently the Sith Lord is allergic to shellfish...

Re: The Well CXII: Woemoejack

Excellent results. I bestow upon you the status of Exalted.

Re: The Well CXII: Woemoejack

I'd do that to plenty of 60+ women. Goldie Hawn, Debbie Harry, Susan Sarandon, Susan Lucci, Olivia Newton John, Suzanne Somers.

If I had to choose though, I'd take Susan Sarandon.

She looked pretty legit in Mr. Woodcock or whatever the name of that movie was.

What's the craziest thing you've ever done while intoxicated?

What type of person irritates you the most?

If you had no restriction on where you could live for the rest of your life, where would it be and why?

Re: The Well CXII: Woemoejack

What's the best kind of moutache?

To be or not to be?

If you could fight one historical figure, who would it be?

What's your favourite book?

Who's your favourite fictional character and why?

Re: The Well CXII: Woemoejack

Good call on Susan, by the way. If I'm still alive and married to someone like this in forty years, I'll be ****ing ecstatic...

No love for Morgan Fairchild?

The craziest thing I've done while intoxicated was nude synchronized swimming with my then girlfriend and another female friend. Hilarious.

People who have an over-exaggerated sense of self importance and entitlement. The type of people that sue places because the hot coffee they bought burned them when they spill it on themselves. The type of people that everything should work 100% of the time with no issues and if they do break, even if for a day, they deserve some kinf od compensation. I literally have a true hatred for these people.

I'd like to live in Ireland in a renovated castle, suitable for modern living, with central heat and plumbing and electricity. I wouldnt want to destroy an old castle I guess, just build one that looks old on the outside.

I think a moustache like Sam Elliot's epitome of brawn. It DEMANDS respect.

To be, especially when referring to beer.

If I could fight a historical figure, I'd fight Michael J. Fox just because I know that I could whoop his ass.

Favorite book is actually a series of books written about the Halo games. Very good reads.

Favorite fictional character is Homer Simpson. He is sort of a role model for me. Loves beer and food. Smokin hot wife. Whats not to like?
