Okay guys and gals, IbanezRocks passed the torch to lil old me. I've been hanging around here for years now, and chime in from time to time when I feel my .02 is actually worth that much. I'm pretty much an open to just about any kind of questions one can throw at me, so fire away.

What's the most surprised you've ever been by an amp that was really good when you didn't expect it?

Re: The Well LXXXIX: LouDriver23; the ultimate loose nut behind the wheel!

What kind of socks do you prefer? Tube or heel cut or super-tuber? Toed? What colors?

If you could only have one guitar left to use for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

What do you think about JB Say's theory of Supply Side Economics (Supply will create demand, if you build it they will buy it, stay even and encourage production) vs. John Maynard Keynes' approach (who cars about deficit, in the long run we'll all be dead; make products to fit demand)?

Re: The Well LXXXIX: LouDriver23; the ultimate loose nut behind the wheel!

1) I'll reuse my favorite question someone asked me: What's your bucketlist?

2) What is the coldest place you've ever been?

I would have to say the Epiphone Valve Jr. I have always been a bit of a name snob, plus the thing only having 1 knob, how good could it be?
Well with my HSS strat I couldn't get an unusable tone out of it.

Oh man, there it is! Honestly to say what I prefer is a matter of what else I'm wearing. For instance I'd feel a little uncomfortable wearing a wool argyle sock for a tennis outing. I'd feel equally weird wearing heel cut athletic socks on the rare occasion I have to wear a suit.
That said, to more accurately answer your question. I prefer a white with colored striped tube sock, worn in the style of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

My black HSS MIJ Strat. I can play blues, rock, harder rock, and even get some usable Jazzish tones. With my trem blocked I can even play around with alternate tunings and slide. Yeah my HSS FTW!!!

Honestly I'd have to use the perfect response posed for a much more difficult question. Originally drafted by humorist and author Douglas Adams.

Bucket list eh?

1: Create a soundtrack for an original animated short.
2: Get involved with another quality big band.
3: Have a re-commitment ceremony with my wife that we both deserve.
4: Figure out something to make up for the last 3 years of bad health for both my wife and I.
5: Find that microscopic place in my heart that houses forgiveness, and use that for my father.

Coldest Place I've ever been....
I was born in Chicago and according to my mom it was -25 the day I was born. We did move to sunny California when I was 8 years old so my memories of the cold are skating, and snowballs.
Not frozen roads etc...

Romantic or Rationalist?

A bit of both to be sure, but heavily on the side of rationalist.

Mesa or Marshall?

Sometimes better the devil you know .... so... AT&T
Fender
I like both equally but if pressed...... Maple by a nose.
I've owned a Mesa Mark IV, but never played through a Marshall. So between the two I'd have to say Mesa just based on pure ignorance of the other.

Are you enjoying this burden?

If not, is it me?

If you are, it's because of me right?

First off, this is not a burden, and yes this is an unusual feeling for me.

Is it because of you? Well, of course, the sun rises and sets over your head right?

Do you miss being 16?
Yes and no.
Yes primarily because I think I could have done youth better. Even if I didn't know then what I know now.

No because I was a zit faced pasty skinned, toothpick of a red-headed dork. Thank god South Park wasn't even a twinkle when I went to High School.

What made you choose The Maxx as your avatar? Are you a comic/graphic collector?

I remember when the Maxx first aired on MTV way back when. The piece just spoke to me, a loner guy, kind of damaged for whatever reason living in 2 coexisting worlds, with 2 coexisting personalities. I guess for whatever reasons I identified with The Maxx.
As for being a comic/graphic novel collector, not really I have very few comics to my name, I've never been much of a collector of anything.

I dunno Ayn Rand is touted to be a genius, but I haven't read Atlas Shrugged, so I will refrain from commenting.
