Re: There is something about these guitars . . .

That guy is awesome... who the hell is he?Is he in a well known band? He obviously just loves to play. The black beauty with the bigsby is just superb.

Re: There is something about these guitars . . .

are they all vintage Gibsons?

because vintage Gibsons are the coolest guitars ever, ever.

ask anybody who knows what they're talking about.

Sadly, when i got to test an Epi GT w P90's was underwhelmed (what ever that means) . . . just expected to hear more of a Leslie West type tone. And i did not !

Would love to hear your Epi w these :

Will probably try ace's combo of a neck custom, (in the bridge), with a bridge vintage, (in the neck). just to get the outputs closer.

I didn't go through Slow Groove's list, but the Fretted Americana vids are all vintage electrics. Most happen to be Gibbys though.

I found that if the neck and bridge out put is too simmilar, the neck over-power the bridge when i pay in the middel-toggle pos.
For that reason, i prefer to have a slighly hotter bridge, so that i can clearly hear both pu's when i play in the middel pos (both vol/tone on 10)
YMMV

That guy is so high on drugs in one of his videos that it's sincerely hard to watch.
