My JJ's came in today!!! I replaced my old stock Mesa tubes with these things, and boy....there's a major difference.

These tubes seem to bring out the low end a lot more. I've also noticed that harmonics come out a bit 'cleaner', if you will. I am however experiencing a lack of sustain and feedback coming in far too soon.

These must be some powerful tubes!!

Are these preamp or power amp tubes? If they are power tubes, did you rebias?

JJ tubes are nice and Bob is a great guy to do business with. Scott F turned me on to JJ tubes a few year ago and I am glad he did. I completely retubed all the stock tubes in a Fender HR Deluxe and DRRI a few years back and the JJ's made them sound a lot better.
