Well, I guess an "Offset Strat" is actually a thing now! Warmoth just announced a new body shape...the Dinkycaster!

Looks really close to Fender's Alternate Reality "66" model to me.

I actually like the one-off Custom Shop version above much better than either of those, but there's clearly a market of people wanting to dip their toes into the "offset" realm without having to leave their "Strat" comfort zones!

It's never been a problem for me. Maybe right-handed guitars were made for left-handers, and YOU'RE the ones playing them upside down.

I noticed that, too, but I also noticed that there isn't a great position for that switch on that shape.

I think a Dinky Caster with a Z-coil in the middle and a nonslanted bridge single coil would work great because it would look like a miniaturized JP Bass

I checked out some options on it, and the rear rout has much better control positoning. I don't get why they didn't include a Jazzmaster trem as an option given the target audience

It looks more like a Jazz Bass body than a Jazzmaster to me.

lose the 3rd knob and put the switch in a better place. mv, mt works fine for most things
