It should be illegal to post threads like this. Next thing you know I'll be telling my friends I can't go out for lack of cash, when I'm just saving up for one of those white Firebirds.

Sir you are a man after my own heart, you have truely great taste indeed. I would just like to add an original L.P Gold top with creme P90's and a '56 (?) Mary Kaye blonde Strat and I'm done. Many thanks once again.... my pants are now extremely tight!

I'd go for a Hamer V myself, no worse than a Gibson quality-wise, surely. Still pricey but not like the originals, if that's what you're going for . Unless you care about the name on the headstock.

Similar with the Firebird - those Doug Kauer ones that featured in a thread a week or so ago are quite swanky, and probably cost less than a custom shop Gibson.
