Thinking about putting some SD's in my LP, advice?

Re: Thinking about putting some SD's in my LP, advice?

I think the 59 would give you too much bass in the neck position. I'm still on board with the Black Winters or Pegasus/Sentient (leaning toward those), as they seem to take effects really well, and are more versatile- not just for chug chug chugging.

I really liked the Peg/Sentient, but ended up going with the BWs as of last night as I preferred the BW neck a lot more. Should be here in a few days:cool2:

Clips on youtube just don't do it, I never liked any whole lotta humbucker clips and it kept me from buying them then I finally bought some and they were perfect for my particular LP. There is a lot of choices, one Duncan set that has worked in every guitar I put them in is the P-rails with triple shot rings or 2 mini toggles with the same combos. I have installed them in HH teles, HSS strats, PRS torero to replace EMG's, Les Paul and semi hollowbody. They are from big thick and hot to tele twang to strat quack and the p90 sound is one of the best and the parallel HB is a good not perfect PAF. What ever you decide on I would highly recommend the triple shot rings, I have used them with Duncans, Dimarzios, Gibsons and especially with mis matched coils they give a great variety of tones.
