Thinking of upgrading pick ups

I recently acquired a PRS SE Paul Allander and it came with the stock passive pick ups not Active Emgs and want to use it for more of an all around guitar I have a Ltd Ms -1 with active emgs for metal.... So I just want some ideas as what are a good all around pick ups.... I am playing through a Line 6 spider Valve 212 mk2 (laugh if you will but I quite enjoy it especially the Bogner amp models)...

There are a ton of pickups that make great "all around" pickups. What about the stock passives in your PRS SE are you unhappy with? What styles are you intending to play with that guitar?

They're alright they kinda fall apart as you add Distortion... I want a pickup up with really warm cleans and a good crunchy tone.... I want to pull off tones from Eric Johnson to Jeff waters

Not sure what switching options come on that PRS model, but the JB/Jazz set is a good place to start for all around options. Then factor in wiring them up for all sorts of options and you can go from there.

Maybe try a Alt8 in the bridge and either a Jazz or 59 in the neck or if your feeling adventurous try a WLH set.
