Preorders for the mini rect are set at $999. It's not a bad price, but i was hoping it would price like the TA15.

I will probably go with a standard 1x12, if I have the funds in the near future.

I also think people need to smarten up and realize that the Recitifiers have a lot of useful tones beyond the stereotypical. Example: Dave Grohl.

Then again this is probably the upteenth time I've said this. Maybe I should see the point and accept the common opinion of the internet and agree that the Rec. is a buzzy nu-metal piece of crap. Wooo. Love this internet thing.

All the rectifier hate in the world is not going to stop be liking mine. It sounds huge, compared to so many other amps I've played. It just leaps out of the cabinet. It can do everything I want it to without a single pedal.

I don't like my low E to 'chug'. I would describe it more as a 'Kkkrrrun!' It's just not all about chug... The chords growl, the leads sing, the riffs don't ask you to think they're groovy and awesome, they tell you they are whether you like it or not. It never fails to punch through any mix for any sound.

With time I've grown-out of the recto-classical-metal tone (the generic one though, I'm sure they're much more versatile than that) and went for something else.

However, I'd still love to own this 30-watts lil beast. Couple that with my TH30 and I get a very versatile set-up that could do almost anything I could ever want in terms of dirt, even very good cleans too...

why not for that price? Around here, used rectos go for much more than a grand...

Meh... Rectos are all about headroom and a clean power section... This feels like one of those great ideas from 1986 that at the time seems great but 20 years later on virtual reality sd forums, we will be going 'wtf were they thinking?'.

Funnily Enough, the 'spongy' switch drops the internal headroom and volume so you can get the power section clipping a little earlier. You can also remove two of the inside tubes and one of the rectifier tubes for even more power reduction. Doing that with the vintage gain and turned up rocks so hard you'll need a bring a hammer and chisel in with you to get out afterwards.

Dude, the more I think about this amp, the more I want it!!!

I'm racking my brain to figure our what I can sell for this sucker. 1000 bucks is a lot when you don't want to get rid of your guitar gear.
