53 frets per octave! :scared:

Invented by a man from Uruguay following Pithagoric amd Ptolemaic theories. I want to see somebody playing this.

Uhhhhhhhhh........I don't even know what to say.

crazy AND ugly. Put legs on it and enter it into an ugly coffee-table contest.

Re: This guitar is the craziest thing!

Built by Mrs. Hamilton's fourth-grade class. Ah, yes, it's very nice.

Re: This guitar is the craziest thing!

a few more frets and it would be actually fretless

think about that

Re: This guitar is the craziest thing!

The MP3 I could listen to sounded like someone playing Bach on a Ukulele. It isn't that impressive really.

Yes, I have listened to them now. Nothing special. I wanted some kind of ancient harp music, but this is pretty standard

Re: This guitar is the craziest thing!

It might be interesting to hear what someone like John McLaughlin would make of it.

Re: This guitar is the craziest thing!

well I meant with so many frets, a few more and it would be ALL frets, and physically tantamount to being the same as fretless. I thought it was humorous and deep ...

.. but it all reminds me of something Steve Vai was talking about once, having a guitar made for him that used a "Xavier" scale, I think? or, some system of 16 tones, unlike the Western 12-tone system. Yeah, that same idea, but on steroids, from hell, times ten, twice.

Sorry I cought it, I only was a bit shocked because I had just found he did not care about that and built the electric, so I just put the picture.
