NGL, seeing that honeycomb raised an eyebrow or four, but can't argue with the result. Looks and sounds really cool. Kudos to the guy.

That's because tonewoods are obviously not very important in an electric guitar. The pickups and amp matter a hell of a lot more to the sound of an electric guitar than the wood it's made out of.
