Tell me how the sound will be affected by pushed in speaker domes, like in this picture.

well, that happend to my PC speakers- no idea how- and all i know now is that they are fucd

take the grill off and put a vaccuum cleaner tube up to the dome and it will pop right back out. That happened to one of my speakers once.

I tried that, and the vaccum wasnt powerful enough lol. probably work with a DYSON or the like tho

I have a shop-vac in my garage that I can tell would do that fine, but it does sound scary!

It is a dust cap, just keeps dust from getting into the speakers voice coils. So it really doesn't change the sound but lowers the cooling ability of the coil. (Think of it like a lung inside there, pulls air in and out as the speaker moves)
