The brass bridge saddles are, of course, an anachronism but we can probably forgive this. Compensated ones would have been nicer, though.

I think the old Baja teles were $599. I can't imagine them bringing the price up $300 for the new ones.

I am not a huge Tele fan, however if I were this one would be a nice addition. The only thing I would like to change would be a maple fretboard, I am not a big fan of rosewood ( just my personal preference ) This is one issue I am running into on my current Standard Strat quest.

The sonic blue is nice though can't argue that and I typically like much darker colors, but it just seems to fit very well with this vintage look.

I've got one of the 50's style Baja's with a maple neck - it has a lovely soft 'v' profile on it. I notice this is a 'c' shape, it it looks good in that colour, with plenty of scope to fettle to taste.

I like the Tobacco Sunburst one. Nice it has a 4 way switch.
