This may get a little crazy but keep with me..................... (Delay content)

Re: This may get a little crazy but keep with me..................... (Delay content)

The Boss RC-20 is what I have on my board and I have been in love with it since the first time I have ever used it.

It seems to me that anyone who does BIG looping or consistent looping either goes for the RC-20 or the RC-50 depending on how deep their usage goes.

I haven't personally used the Headrush but I have heard only good things about it. The only potential downside is that it has a relatively short loop (16 seconds I think?). Which is probably fine for most people but I have on occasion had loops that go as long as 25-30 seconds.

Is RC press and hold?

The RC is tap-to-start for all looping. It also has a quantize function (which I don't use a whole lot). But if you use the quantize function and your timing isn't exact the pedal will automatically stretch or shorten your loop minimally to match timing.

I have absolutely no regrets about my RC-20. It has dramatically made my looping sound better and it has been much easy to use than what I had used in the past.

How's the play back sound? CLean tone? With the DL-8 the looper sux. It'll loop, but it comes out a lil muddied, then when i hit a boost pedal or turn down loop voulme to solo over it, it essentially cancels out my loop. In terms of not hearing the rhythm.

It is about as clean as you can imagine. I do a lot of one-man type stuff. I loop 2 clean guitar tones and 1 octave down tone all together on the RC-20 and it always sounds great. There is an input volume knob and output volume knob so you can adjust your volumes through the pedal as well. It's a serious looping pedal.
