It's got magnetic, piezo, fuzz, flange, chorus, wireless MIDI, and a touchpad to control a Kaosspad.

Take a look at the guts:

This guitar should have an adapter input... (Like any guitar with active pickups should? ;) Not really, but an insteresting thought anyway...)

Re: This Might Be The Craziest Guitar I've Ever Seen

Good thing it's got piezos, because there's not enough wood left for the magnetics to do anything.

Re: This Might Be The Craziest Guitar I've Ever Seen

Too bad they took the guitar out in order to make room for the electronics.

Do you have to wear one of these when you play it?

Re: This Might Be The Craziest Guitar I've Ever Seen

I wonder how fast all that eats through the batteries ? It could get expensive.

 Tinfoil Robocop cosplay

So long as the touchpad only turns on when being touched, and the wireless MIDI function only turns on when a signal is sent, I'd say the batteries would last a decent time. Digital circuitry consumes more than analog, but it can also be set to "auto-off" to conserve it.

But why would anyone put in fuzz and not clean boost or full-on distortion? Seriously, the 60s are over.

Jesus, look at all the knobs and switches! I wonder if it gets a jazz-box kinda vibe seeing as the guitar is effectively a hollowbody now . . .

Re: This Might Be The Craziest Guitar I've Ever Seen

Bellamy from Muse seems to like kaospads. Might as well add the rest of the tech-metal/shoegazer pedals right onto the guitar so you don't have to haul around a pedalboard.
I mean, until you break a string and then you're back on the Squier Telecaster again.

Re: This Might Be The Craziest Guitar I've Ever Seen

With all that wood taken out of the butt end of the guitar, the first thing that came to mind was "neck heavy".

Don't forget that while it won't make up for the wood weight pound for pound, all of the extra electronics aren't featherweight.

Re: This Might Be The Craziest Guitar I've Ever Seen

what's going on at the ends of some of the frets? some reddish brown dealios - LEDs?

Re: This Might Be The Craziest Guitar I've Ever Seen

You have to be a NASA engineer to operate that thing.

Re: This Might Be The Craziest Guitar I've Ever Seen

2 or 3 pickups, 4 pots, 1 or 2 switches. max. this is really useless imho.
