It should be vaulted for the Legendary Tones info on why '82 Marshall JCM-800's sound "better" than those from '86.

Players have wondered about this for years: why do the vertical input JCM-800 Marshalls sound better than the later horizontal input JCM-800 models?

This thread answered the question once and for all and proved to me that I wasn't imagining this tonal diff. :laugh2:
