all used: 60's MIM Tele and DSL15 and a Hiwatt 212 that I don't recognize. I only play it in the store on the low gain mode but it sounded deep throaty and raunchy. I was surprised because the DSL15H almost always sounded like angry bees.

Put any amp through a given decent 2x12 cab and I suspect that the result could be the same.

I really wanted to love it, but the 15 is, IMO, a swing and a miss. I bought a OR15 instead. Now I have the 40C.
