Those dang screws!

Okay... ordered a duncan jazz pup used, didn't come with screws. Squier mounting screws are too fat (440 measurement).

AND...the hardware store guy DROPPED one of them into the crack in the floor.

SO... where can I order three (3) mounting screws for humbuckers!?!?!?

LMFAO that this is so hard!!

What color is your super sonic? I just googled it and they look pretty badass. I say you hit more hardware stores and try finding the correct screws you need. They don't run for much, but at most online stores, shipping alone would like $5-6. :eyecrazy:

I've always had good luck finding the screws I need at Ace Hardware. They seem to have a larger selection of sizes both metric and standard than anywhere else I have found....other than online guitar stores. Check them out.

FWIW, I didn't want to use the standard chrome pup screws on my Alvarez Scoop, so I found powder coated black hex head screws at Ace that fit Duncan pups.....so I bet you can find something that will work.

You need 3-48 x 1" or 1 1/4" long

I would have just brought the pickup to the store and try all the screws until I found the right one.

I'd put a wanted ad in the Trader section for Duncan bolts. There's probably guys that would throw a couple in an envelope and mail them to you for free. If I had spares, I would.
