Wow, she's good.


But anyway, I don't understand why someone would buy a guitar purely for the paint job, why not look for something better or a good used deal. If you really like the one knob, you can easily rewire and not use the other pickup or other knobs.

I was having a look at one of those new Hello Kitty Squier Strats in the shop window today.

I know it's crazy, but I couldn't help but feel tempted.

They're cheap, under £200 (here in the uk). But the real clincher is that they're already set up EVH style with a single bridge humbucker and a single volume pot.

I know, I know, it's pink, it's hello kitty, and it's a squier. Enough to get me killed in some countries. But has anyone tried one of these? Are they any good?

When I Duncanised my old squier (first guitar), it became my main guitar, I hardly even touch my Epiphone SG or Flying V anymore.

Thoughts? Am I being silly?

I think they make you wear school-boy knickers when you're well over 30. The trick is to rock your ass off in the process and hope no one notices! :laugh2:

Nah, it's my old faithful, a beatup 97 Am Std with a fret dress and Chubtone El Gordo/2 63's. It's one of those great sounding/playing guitars that a man would own, not some gay b1tch pink guitar! :laugh2:

Speaking of EJ strats, I played another one at GC this afternoon, and one of these days I'm going to get a black one, and throw a black pickguard and Chubtone 69's with aged white covers in it. I've also thought of paying around $460 and getting just the EJ neck and putting it on one of my strats. That neck is the best neck Fender ever made, and it's not my opinion, it's a fact.
As far as that pink b1tch guitar.....that neck sucks donkey balls, and pink dots scream, "I'm a 14 year old girl in the body of a man." :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

I think hello kitty guitar idea in general is kinda stupid...but thats probably the ONLY guitar I've ever seen that would look better with a white EMG in it than a black EMG.
This is a guitar I can honestly see my parents buying for my 7-year old sister :smack: :laugh2:

I don't even view it as a comrpomise. Everything I've played from squier has been great lately.

And I can even understand that a second pickup would muss kitties hair :laugh2:

still needs more knobs

Kinda want one, but have to unload stuff first. It's between that and a daisy rock.
