Thoughts on black headstock/white pickguard combo

Just playing around with some ideas as I wanna put some SD's in my strat. It's a American Select Mahogany strat with a painted black headstock but thought it might be cool with a white pickguard. Apologies for my poor paint skills, but you get the idea.

Also thinking of putting a custom stack plus in the neck, classic stack plus in the middle and either a JB or Custom humbucker in the bridge.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, black pickguard.

A Custom in the bridge would probably be sweet.

Nope, not for me. If single coils, knobs, switch and trem tip were black it might get closer but even then, I don't think so.

I don't think it's too bad, but I agree with VinceT… If all the other plastic parts were black it would be much better.

That is a strange combo- I agree with black plastic. But it is certainly your guitar, so have a blast. I have seen some strange combos that eventually grow on me, though.
