Are these heads pretty good? For bedroom practice/recording from amp emulated out to stock computer soundcard. With my band's music were in drop B but I play other styles as well: classic/hard rock/80's metal etc. I also just got a Danelectro Fish & Chips eq pedal and I got an MXR 6 band eq pedal on the way. Was reading that this head only has 8 ohm out, is that true or can you run different ohm loads? The cabs I have are Marshall 1960A 4x12 cab, leftover 2x12 oversized Mesa Tremoverb combo cab with factory celestion vintage 30's converted to closed back with plug n play jackplate bought from Antique Audio Supply and my Marshall 1965A 4x10 closed back cab that goes with my marshall artist 3203 head.

Check out one of the Blackstar ID heads. You can run it at any volume and even without a cab if you want to use it for recording.
