Thoughts on Heritage 535?

Does anyone have one of these or has played them? Thinking about getting a semi-hollow without the 335 pricetag. Thanks.

Re: Thoughts on Heritage 535?

Everything and all that. I thought the neck was a touch too thin for my fat hands and, i love those fatassed Les Paul necks. But, it wasn't fender strat thin, more of 60's LP thin.

If I were to own one again, I'd skip the Bigsby. Pain the butt. And, I'd special order it with a fatter neck.

or I'd try a Hamer this time.

535 is an excellent guitar, no two ways about it.

Scott traded his off a few months ago I think...

I have played a few and none of them disappoint. I am a big Heritage proponent though. I'd pick one up used and then do a hardware and pup change if it was me, you can pick up Heritages pretty cheap used. I ordered a Tone Pros bridge and Aluminum Talipiece for my 150 and it was about 120. I threw another 170 in it for pups and wow what a guitar.

Meh, heritage gets a cracking write-up, but I;d still go for the prestige :) of an epiphone with new pups, and maybe an electronics job. The elitist range of epis seem to be rather popular...

The guy I take lessons from has a Heritage semi-hollow and it's a nice sounding guitar. It's one of the single cut models, but I don't know which one.
