Thoughts on the LP Studio Buckethead?

I think it looks pretty neat and I like the specs, but I don't think I'd own one, especially at the price point.

What do you guys think?

24 frets, two kill switches 496R neck and 500T bridge. 300k volume, 500k tone. The tone control does a coil split on the bridge.

I'd want a different wiring configuration. For example I'd want to be able to split the neck, and I don't need two kill switches. Specs just sound idiosyncratic to one person to me.

Not something I would buy, but at least it's something actually unique. Far too many signature models these days seem to simply be the same old guitars but with a different set of pickups and a heftier price tag.

I do appreciate how unique it is.

They're cool, precisely because they're not traditional. The longer scale and bigger body is an attraction for those who find regular LPs on the cramped side.

I do prefer the full fat version, which has an ebony (or richlite?) fretboard and binding. Since both versions have been discontinued for yonks, prices are comical.
