The Custom Shop 50th Ann's have a more refined, tighter, clearer, and lively sound than the stock ones. Where most A2's are a little wooly sounding, meaning less crystal clear, the Anniversaries sound more open - closer in sound to an A5 pickup, surprisingly. They really remind me of a cross between Seths and 59's....maybe like a PRS McCarty pickup.
The engraving is a nice touch too.
