I like it with the Plextortion. Very nice tone. Had a good crunchy grind to it. Love how the notes and chords bloom.

Thanks guys. As soon as my Internet service is back up and running (see my review thread) I am going to post another Plextortion clip as I took some more time this weekend to tweak amp and pedal and it sounds much better. This clip was just plug in, dial up something quick and hit "record".

Erik, that bloom is the pickups. It is more prominent on the Class 5 all by itself, but maybe does not come across as much in the recording cos the amp is more buzzy sounding? IDK. I am debating getting a new amp head, or just staying with the pedal route with the Class 5, and grabbing another Wampler for JTM45/Plexi type tones.
