Re: Three screw/side mounting legs on Omega?
What are you talking about? Duncan include screws, springs and either a neck or bridge p'up ring (depending if it's a neck or bridge p'up model) inside every retail box, with the exception of Trembucker and Parallel-Axis p'ups, which includes a matching, flat p'up ring.
Well it would sure be nice if they would show them somewhere then! lol (like show the pickup mounted in it's ring,,,,,like they do the Dimebucker)
Are they form-fitted like the Dimebuckers? I'm betting not.
Do you see what I mean by form-fitted? Like there's little or no space between the pup and the ring,,,,no big gap.
And why would they send flat-rings with bridge trembuckers?
I always like my bridge rings to be the medium heights that way the pickup isn't sticking waaaay up out of the ring.

I only see the triple shot rings which just look like those crappy all-parts rings, except the have the triple-shot thing.
Just to clarify here;
My "problem" isn't finding rings (got plenty of them in various sizes, metal and cheapo plastics), or finding a way to mount non-carvin pups in my carvin rings. Got that whipped.
Just wanting/hoping they (the main brands) would see how darned functional the carvin mounting system is and how much classier their bezels make the guitar look,,,,,,,,,IMO lol.
On the SD custom-shop page they specifically note that the slug comes with a custom-fitted ring,,,,,,,,which leads one to assume that when it's not noted that rings are not included.
