That's a nice "back to the roots"-blues!

You've found a great amount of reverb..not too much and not too little.

I mostly use a little delay for reverb, I find it easier to dial in. But this time I wanted to try a reverb instead. And it turned out quite good! as you said not too much and not too little.

Cool, glad you had a awsome holiday in the Country of Thousand Lakes! It's been very very dry and hot compared to normal Finnish summers this year but shouldn't be a problem for you though

hehe, cream... might even be that Finland is called the land of the thousand lakes as well, or the country of the thousand lakes. I don't know what the translate it to in english. Funny nonetheless!

Thanks, glad you dig the tone! It's the somewhat known Thursday Burst, 1959ying a Love Rock project that I have going. The basic concept is modding a MIJ Tokai Love Rock to sound and feel more like a real 1959 Burst. So this is that guitar (link in my sig to the project page).

Plugged into my usual rig/setup, V-Stack Classic -> Bluesbreaker RI combo. Recorded with a cheap 3.5mm Sony mic.
