Tightest/clearest for 7 string

Grabbed a 7 string guitar last week and am digging it. However it's 25.5" scale so the issue of getting proper tension for the low tuning (BEADGBE and BbEbAbDbGbBbEb) means that I have huge strings that sound pretty cloudy and muddy compared to my other guitars. I've already put hex screws in the stock pickups and am playing with height which helps some but still not where I want it to be. So two questions:

Can a replacement pickup correct this issue?
What's Duncan's clearest, tightest passive pickup?

I like the Nazgûl in a 7 string. Its tight and clear.

How huge are your strings? I've been tuning 6s and 7s at 25.5 down as low as F# with a .074. For B, anything from .056-.064 is fine.

If you're already into baritones, cool, but if you haven't tried one, it's not just a matter of matching tensions at different scale lengths. The longer the string gets, it kinda needs more tension to feel the same as a string at a normal scale. They get really twangy pretty quick, too.

If you want tight, I'd say that the Nazgûl is your guy (paired with the Sentient ofc).

I've had the best sucess; using the equalizer in the effects loop! Completely changed the sound, feel, and working characteristics of my amp . (Blackstar HT-20mkII)

Keith Merrow? Seriously though, the guy did a great SD shootout vid, the the ones you're looking at were only featured in the 6 string versions.

The jupiter should be pretty tight, if it‘s anything like the dimebucker

I've seen some more recent comparisons which include the Jupiter, and really I'd say it is it.
It's not really tighter than the Dime, but it is fuller with less of the treble spike, so I'd imagine it would work well in a wider selection of guitars.
